Celebrating a New Chapter: Fern Grove's Grand Opening!

Building communities where people can live safely and affordably is at the heart of what we do. On Friday, January 31st, 2025, we proudly celebrated the completion of Fern Grove Apartments, Orlando’s newest affordable housing community for seniors.


This project was made possible through the partnership of AGPM and BDG, with BDG leading the development and construction and AGPM proudly managing the community to ensure residents have a safe, supportive, and high-quality living environment.


We want to extend our sincere gratitude to Mayor Dyer, Congressman Frost, Commissioner Rose, the Orlando City Council, and the City of Orlando for their partnership and support in making this project a reality. With the city's investment of $1.3 million, we were able to bring 138 much-needed one- and two-bedroom affordable housing units to seniors aged 55 and up who earn at or below 70% of the Area Median Income.


We believe that affordable housing should offer more than just a place to live—it should provide a sense of community and security. That’s why Fern Grove Apartments includes essential services such as literacy and computer training, 24-hour urgent support, and assistance with daily tasks like housekeeping, grocery shopping, and laundry.


We are grateful to the City of Orlando for its commitment to expanding affordable housing opportunities and look forward to continuing to work together to create communities that allow residents to live with dignity, stability, and peace of mind.
