We are pleased to announce that Brooke Sammons has joined AGPM, LLC as the Executive Director of the Tree House Foundation (THF) – reporting directly to the Board of Directors and working in tandem with AGPM’s Management Support Services Team led by Jose Quintana and Toni Branham.
In her new role, Brooke will lead and manage all aspects of THF’s operations, as well as establish a fresh and forward-looking mission, vision, and strategy for the foundation.
Prior to joining AGPM, Brooke served in a high-level leadership role with Harbor Hope International – whose primary mission is to serve adult and child survivors of human trafficking. In this role, she developed and established Harbor Hope’s first inaugural safe house and residential program tailored for survivors in the North Florida region. Brooke also designed one of the first Strategic Logic Models to align services and programming with survivors and designed/delivered HT case management training for Case Managers across both governmental and non-profit agencies such as Catholic Charities. In late 2023, Brooke expanded the programming significantly to include additional services such as life planning counseling, auto-purchase support, credit repair, housing assistance, and court advocacy services – to name a few.
Prior to Harbor Hope International, Brooke served in leadership with Created Gainesville– where she recruited, trained and developed a 10-member Case Management/Advocate Team that provided restorative care for exploited and trafficked individuals. In this role, she developed and established the first inaugural safe house and residential program tailored for survivors in the North Florida region. Brooke also maintained oversight of all budgetary requirements and also leveraged services from external groups; including Polaris, United Way, local ministries, rehabilitation centers and mental health facilities.
Before entering the non-profit sector leading social service initiatives, Brooke worked for 10 years in high-profile, private healthcare practice group. She was responsible for leading the team involved with business expansion both online and through brick-and-mortar locations.
Throughout her career, Brooke was consistently recognized for her leadership and managerial effectiveness – receiving the Annual RISE Award by the Anti-Trafficking Task Force of North Central FL, as well as the “Boots on Ground Award” – granted by Feeding Northeast Florida. In her free time, she is an active volunteer with many organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, March of Dimes, and Mission of the Direct Road Community Organization.
As many are aware, THF was formed over 12 years ago as a self-sustaining, non-profit organization that exclusively serves the needs of individuals and families alike who reside at the communities that we own and operate. A primary goal for THF is to expand services and provide additional resources to our communities. Brooke will lead that effort and establish THF as a best-in-class (and unique) foundation throughout the 12 states where AGPM operates. The ultimate vision is for Tree House to become “remarkably remarkable” in providing services that are often overlooked and/or unprecedented at both market-rate and affordable-housing communities throughout the country.
Please join us in welcoming Brooke Sammons to the AGPM team, she can be reached by email at lsammons@agpmanager.com or by calling her at (407) 447-1780 ext. 2011.
Welcome aboard Brooke!!!
